]]>Here is my criteria for a great piece of luggage:
(1) Perfect Size: some “carry ons” really do not fit in all overhead bins. I do not want to be that girl trying to stuff her carry on into the bin. My Tumi is the perfect size. I have never had a problem getting it into the overhead bin.
(2) Distinguishable: yes, I want my luggage to be cute. Moreso, I want it somewhat distinguishable in the event I do check it. The gold hardware on my Tumi makes it easy to spot.
(3) Durable: luggage is expensive. There is no way around that. But there is nothing worse than investing in a piece of luggage only to have it fall apart after two flights. Invest in a GOOD piece of luggage, so you can have it for years to come.
TUMI
It’s hard to go wrong with Tumi, they know how to make great luggage that lasts for years. But, it comes with a hefty price tag. If you’re lucky, you can find Tumi on sale sometimes. I snagged this piece during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a couple years back and it has held up fantastically. I put a lot of miles on my luggage, and it still looks great.
TED BAKER
HOW.CUTE.IS.THIS.CARRYON?! kind of dying over it. The pattern and gold hardware make it easy to spot and the compartments look practical.
BRICS
Brics luggage is classic and cute! While it often comes with a hefty price tag, this piece is on sale for $279!
DELSEY
Another cute white option with an even better price tag, only $249 for this cutie! The outer shell makes is extra durable.
DVF
Before I got my Tumi, I had a DVF carry-on and loved it. After almost a decade, it sadly had to be retired. This cute hardsize carry on comes in black, white, and several other colors! BONUS, it’s only $99!
